i have the latest version of forge, latest version of optifine, but it doesnt work, i have java 64 bit (but cant get minecraft to use it) but it still wont work.

im having another problem, im using the 3rd latest version of optifine that doesnt have shaders support, i thought it would fix the problem with the second latest version which fixed a problem i got in the latest version that the shader mod and optifine had conflicted, there were 2 shader buttons, one for the shader mod and one for optifine, they conflicted with each other for reasons hard for me to explain, here are some screenshots showing my problem after the shader problem was solved, also as 2 pics show it happens when i turn on fast rendering. Note: im sure there are more settings i didnt show you that are messed up due to this bug. i can change settings normally but that button seems dangerious as the only way to reset the bug is to put the fast render back to off and restart minecraft.
last but not least, when i open a world it crashes for whatever reason, i have not yet tried multiplayer but i dont think multiplayer will have any difference in outcome. i have NO idea why this happens but i think two or more mods might be conflicting again. if you can tell me what to and not to do that would be great. thanks in advance.

ModeratorYou are using a 1.8.8 mod with a 1.8.0 Forge version. Use this Optifine version instead of the one you're using now.

also is there a chance theres a forge version that can run on 1.8.8 optifine?

im having another problem, im using the 3rd latest version of optifine that doesnt have shaders support, i thought it would fix the problem with the second latest version which fixed a problem i got in the latest version that the shader mod and optifine had conflicted, there were 2 shader buttons, one for the shader mod and one for optifine, they conflicted with each other for reasons hard for me to explain, here are some screenshots showing my problem after the shader problem was solved, also as 2 pics show it happens when i turn on fast rendering. Note: im sure there are more settings i didnt show you that are messed up due to this bug. i can change settings normally but that button seems dangerious as the only way to reset the bug is to put the fast render back to off and restart minecraft.
last but not least, when i open a world it crashes for whatever reason, i have not yet tried multiplayer but i dont think multiplayer will have any difference in outcome. i have NO idea why this happens but i think two or more mods might be conflicting again. if you can tell me what to and not to do that would be great. thanks in advance.

i installed it properly.... i just put it into the mods folder....
sorry, i just tend to assume all mods are installed exactly the same for forge.
but i uninstalled shaders anyway.
