I have a Survival world I've been working on for quite awhile now and I've grown attached to it. One day I realized that it didn't show up. I tried moving it in and out of my Saves folder, copying it, and checking its contents against a world that loads properly. It had all the right contents, and nothing else worked. Please help.
Here's the last screenshot (forum didn't let me upload 6).
Good: U world still work.
Bad: Only work with a new level.dat
In u picture u have an level.dat_mcr file that i sent in u archive file.
If u sand my this level.dat_mcr file maybe i can fix u world.
With the level.dat_mcr file i only need to know what Minecraft Version u play.
Without level.dat_mcr i need to know u Minecraft Version and the original World Seed. (Without the seed the world will look . . . different if u enter new regions.)
Here's my level.dat_mcr file. I played 1.8.8 at the time. Only issue is, I can't get it to actually be a dat_mcr file for some reason.
Ok u send file are also defect.
If u have the original Seed of u world its easy to regenerate a new level dat.
Without i only can make a different level.dat and u will maybe have strange terrain if u enter new regions.

Sounds like u level.dat file are corruptet.
If u want to try a fix on u one:
!!! First off all make a backup of u world folder befor duing anithing with the files !!!
- Delete the level.dat file.
- Rename the level.dat_old file to level.dat.
- Test with Minecraft if it show up.
- If the world dont show:
- Delete the level.dat file.
- Rename the level.dat_mcr to level.dat
- Test wuth Minecraft if its now showing up.
If u want that i try to fix it for u:
- Put u worldfolder in an compressd file. (Like: ZIP, RAR, ACE, 7ZIP, . . .)
- Upload the file to an Filehoster. (Like www.mediafire.com)
