I play on singleplayer survival and have loads of mods.

I sometimes delete a ".minecraft" folder and replace it with a previous save, and I believe this may be the cause of why I'm having the problem right now; I break blocks, but they keep reappearing.

Can someone help me with this?

Can you try playing in vanilla and see if it changes then?

Also, try removing some more intensive mods?

I recall having this issue myself on the recent snapshots (vanilla though), but it seems to have fixed itself.

What're your computer specs, and how much ram have you allocated to MC?

I built quite a lot so it hasn't happened since I built so much in my area.

I don't know how to allocate ram to MC actually, how do I do that?

When you open your minecraft launcher click 'edit profile' the tick 'JVM arguments'.

Erase everything in the text box and the type '-Xmx1G'. Add a space and then type '-Xms1G'

Save profile and run game.


The amount of RAM you can allocate to minecraft depends on your computer.

For more RAM you can change the '1G' to '2G' for ex
For less RAM you can change the '1G' to '800M' for ex

The 'Xms' should always be equal or lesser than the 'Xmx'

ok i tried allocating ram to MC ( I did 1G, it was 1G-128M before) and it still does it.

My computer's specs are:

-Asus

-Windows 8.1 64bit operating system

-Installed Memory: 8Gb

-Nvidia Geforce Version 2.5.15.54

Also, I have the "backpack mod" installed and usually use "b" to open it, and it gets stuck when I dig for a while. It opens and closes fine when I get out of mine hole that I dug

Try allocating up to 4g - Copy/paste this: -Xmx4G -Xmn128M

Your computer sounds like it's a laptop, which makes me wonder about its processor.

Go to windows search (however you prefer to) and search "this pc". right click on "This PC", and click properties:

A screen like this will pop up. Either post a screenshot of it (BUT IF YOU DO, BLOCK OUT YOUR PRODUCT ID), or just reply with what it says.

I think I'll just write it all out:

Processor: Intel (R) Core (TM) i7-4500U CPU @ 1.80Ghz 2.40GHZ

Installed Memory(RAM): 8GB (7.89GB usable)

System Type: 64-bit Operating System, x64-based processor

And it's still happening. I think it has something to do with me deleting ".minecraft" from Roaming and copy/pasting a previously saved ".minecraft" world save and replacing it.

Where do I get the logs from?

ah damn! Yeah I am running it on a laptop

So I guess it's my computer, this sucks!

Thank you for the help, unless there are any suggestions I can a few things?

Do this:

get razer cortex

get optifine

try minecrafttweaker

before playing minecraft boost your laptop with razer cortex and close all programs.

worked on my laptop

Also what is your graphics card?

My graphics card is Nvidia GeForce Experience

I did everything you said, but it's still not working :(, downloaded Minecrafttweaker, set that as profile, got razer cortex and turned on Boost and added Minecraft and launched it through that, still the same issue.

oh it doesn't happen when i get rid of all my mods! But what do I do? Do I have to get rid of every mod? Or can just a specific one be the problem?

ok I solved it! It was the backpacks mod as soon as I got rid of it, the blocks broke easy!
