You can tell if they are glitched out chunk strip (chunks that did not load, but do exist) or if corrupted missing chunks, which are "void" holes now.
Put stuff in a chest somewhere safe and try to walk into said missing chunks. If you are "rubber banding" then the chunks are glitched. Which should be fixed normally by relogging/reloading a world. If you fall and keep falling into void and to death. Well chunks corrupted and were deleted (best thing to happen to corrupted chunks).
I rubber band in all of them...... I loaded the world again. Then the chunks which were glitched came back to normal but some other areas become glitched chunks. The same thing surprisingly does not happen in my multiplayer server(Same version and mods). Even if I start a new world I get these glitched chunks.
I'll check one more time to see if they are void or glitched chunks :-)

The game does not crash. Some Chunks don't load properly.

Nothing new there. Exit world and go back into world or if on Multiplayer then Relog and it should get fixed.
It fixes some areas but other areas still don't load porperly.
