I have been having an issue randomly where when I click play the game will act like it's starting up then will proceed to crash. At first it would happen one or two times then would just some how fix its self and I could play. After playing this afternoon perfectly fine I went to eat and came back. Restarted the game and have ran into this issue repeatedly. Game will not initialize and just keeps crashing. I have checked all drivers and java and everything says I am up to date. Any help would be great and if I miss any info I would be happy to post it up.

I believe we are having the exact same problem. I just purchased and downloaded the game for the first time on the PC and when I hit Play, the launcher disappears for a second then pops back up and shows this:
I tried using the earlier versions as it mentioned however that didn't work. It looked promising because it started to load things that it hadn't before, however it gave the same result. I started a new thread to address the issue I'm having, however I will check back here and try anything listed here too.
Sorry for the late replies. I don't have this client modded no. As for the to old chipset it's just not making sense to me since I can play sometimes but other times I just can't get the main update screen to show any text or pictures and the game crashes after hitting play. Other times everything just works fine and I get right ingame. If I was just playing a solo world or something this wouldn't be that much of an issue because I could roll back to a different version but playing on a realm this seems to be the only way to get in game and play. Today I haven't had an issue logging in and playing, but again like yesterday I just all of a sudden with no change to system or updates couldn't even get the game to fire up.
