My friend is having a problem with forge. When he tries to load up the game it freezes at a certain point that says "Loading - Initializing Minecraft Engine 3/7 Rendering Setup - Render Global Instance". I do not think its the mods because it all works for me. We tried using my .minecraft for him, changing the amount of memory, and changing forge versions. If anyone can offer any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.

I think this has happened to me before. Usually I just force exited the game, launched the game, and it works. But you have probably already tried this..

Quite outdated 1.8 Java version. Update java to latest (1.8_u65) first. Unless using CurseVoice or so, in which it uses it's own java runtime.
Then test again and if still same, but first put a proper crash log or the FML log on Pastebin.
