I have tried restarting, turning off windows firewall and all other site blockers, pinged the servers and they are responding and a few other java specific fixes not precisely for minecraft. I am also unable to access any of the dynamaps that the servers I play on have up. The minecraft status board shows no issues so I have come to here for community help. I am in Canada, Alberta on a Shaw high speed router that shows no issues for any other web connectivity. I hope someone here has an idea of what I can do.
