The game starts up normally however when I load into a game or create a new world it crashes. 1.8.8 Will only leave a "Nativelog" on my Desktop once it starts if I delete it next time I run Minecraft that log gets replaced. In the "Nativelog" note pad file this is what it says:

Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM warning: Using incremental CMS is deprecated and will likely be removed in a future release
This is potentially resolved I deleted Minecraft and downloaded the older .exe file (Alternative windows download) and I managed to load a world without it crashing and no errors on my Desktop. If anyone else has the same issue as above back up your worlds and delete Minecraft the use the alternative download for the .exe file.
Tell Mojang to update their Java; 1.8.0_25-b18 is the version that comes with the native Windows launcher; no idea why they haven't updated it, but it shouldn't be causing issues (then again, it complains about deprecated JVM arguments).
Also, there appears to be an incompatibility between Intel graphics cards and the latest snapshots because I've been seeing this same crash a lot (for example; in that case they also used a more up to date version of java so that can't be the cause), all referring to "ig75icd64.dll+0x55628c", or sometimes another Intel driver (this is not the first time there have been issues with Intel chipsets; some people became unable to play any version after 1.7.2 due to a similar, more serious issue with Intel 4 chipsets).
In another thread (linked to in the link above, again the exact same crash) the OP said that turning on VBOs stopped the crashes as well as graphical glitching, another issue that has been reported with the snapshots.

Curse PremiumUpdate Java.
"We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far."

TheMasterCaver's First World - possibly the most caved-out world in Minecraft history - includes world download.
TheMasterCaver's World - my own version of Minecraft largely based on my views of how the game should have evolved since 1.6.4.
Why do I still play in 1.6.4?
Last time I checked (about a year ago I guess), Mojang don't bundle java with their launcher, its YOUR java, and YOU need to update it.
I don't use the official launcher, it's just so plain and ugly, among other things, I don't like Magic launcher either.
The latest launcher does in fact manage a custom Java installation, not that I use that version of the launcher.
