Hello, I've had an issue with my Minecraft for the past few hours, and have yet to find a resolution.
Earlier today me and my friend were on a Minecraft server, and we were about to play, but I was quickly resolving some lag issues. I tried turning VBOs on, and my Minecraft crashed (Crash report here).
Now, every single time I try to launch Minecraft, it says "Downloading", then "Launching", and then reverts to the normal "Play" button. The launcher also gives this error message.
I've been trying to find fixes for hours, and when I do, the website is talking about programming stuff, and honestly, I really can't understand what it's talking about.
Update: I've fixed the issue! Turns out, all I needed to do was right click the Minecraft icon and go into properties. I then went to the shortcut tab and clicked on "Advanced...". I checked it off to run as an administrator, and BAM! Problem solved.

Thanks SO much for the help!
EDIT:
My DxDiag report: http://pastebin.com/6E2xfSHp
My Java version is 1.8.0_66-b17 (64 Bit)
I've already tried reinstalling Minecraft and Java. Please don't suggest these, since neither has worked.
