Hi, I am getting the same message, I was using minecraft yesterday, and today I can't use it. I have a proper account and have been running minecraft from this PC for years.
Funny thing is, it is working on the PC in the lounge room, but it won't authenticate me from my laptop anymore, even when the other PC is switched off. Lounge room PC is java 8, laptop pc is java 7 if that matters, but yes, I am getting the exact same message from one of my PC's. I always use Technic launcher, but now, even minecraft Vanilla won't let me in.
Invalid credentials my foot! They are valid, let me in! lol
I'll try again tomorrow and see if it works, just in case I got myself locked out for too many tries or something. (I doubt it, but it's possible)

A few minutes ago I was playing minecraft good, after that I decided to take a short break so I closed it.
After I got back, I tried to login and it said this:

As I said, a few minutes ago it was okay, now something happened!
Is this my computer's fault? Is mojang experiencing difficulties?
