So i use optifine since i started to play minecraft, but yesterday i was getting terrible connection. So i checked why the terrible connection, tried to restart . minecraft, but no results. When i runned it without mods, the connection improved. I was only using forge and optifine and the terrible connection returned. Im at 1.8 and i cant play without optifine. Any help please?
If those are accurate results, I would expect to get poor connections often, especially to servers located far from your ISP. If you're sure it is caused by Optifine - constantly higher ping with compared to without, same server - then perhaps you could try Fastcraft instead of Optifine. Although I must say I'm not aware of much data being transferred by Optifine.

I don't really have comparison stats because I've never really had FPS issues myself. But it's a good alternative, some people (a lot of modpack makers) even prefer it over Optifine. It's worth a shot.

Optifine improves FPS, which works for me. But whenever Im in a server, its not FPS lag, its like right clicking a quick warp compass to find a mini game server etc, but it lags behind and it takes time for the compass GUI to appear. Now maybe that wasnt a good explanation, but its my best.

Auto Refresh - Automatically refreshes your server list and alerts you when your selected server comes online.
Pick Block Plus - A clientside mod that significantly improves the vanilla pick block function.
And a few others that we don't talk about.

Curse PremiumAh, I forgot you were using 1.8... to my knowledge it is only available for 1.7.10 so far. Sorry about that.
