Hi, I've been playing the FTB Infinity pack lately and everything worked fine.
Today I picked up some item (dropped from a zombie pigman) I think it was Thaumcraft's comon bag, althought I've never had problems with these before.
Anyway, everytime I load my save file it loads up then shuts down. I tried to remove that item with an NBT editor but the Player file didn't seem to have any inventory data.

Realistic Torches - Causes torches to burn out after a configurable amount of time.
Nature's Compass - A utility item that allows you to search for any biome's location in the world.
Notes - Provides a clientside in-game notepad.
Souls - After you die, a hostile Soul that stores your inventory will spawn.
Auto Refresh - Automatically refreshes your server list and alerts you when your selected server comes online.
Pick Block Plus - A clientside mod that significantly improves the vanilla pick block function.
And a few others that we don't talk about.
I've been having the same trouble you are having with crashing issues it turns out mine was a mob spawning issue but I don't know how to fix it
anyway sorry for the ramble on, but when I tried to pick up any mob drop that always happened but I could never remove any thing form the inventory
with an NBT editor I've had to switch all of the mods to the FTB Horizons Daybreaker psckage and I haven't had any trouble since.
