Yes, I have looked around. Yes, nothing worked. Yes, I went to hopper.minecraft.net's Pixel format Not Accelerated help page. Yes, I will stop speakin with 'Yes' at the beginning. Basically, this happened as soon as I got to Windows 10. No, I don't want to go back, don't even ask me to unless I give up and ask for it. Wen I did go to hopper.minecraft.net's Pixel Format help page, nothing helped. It told me to open DxDiag, and download my manufacturer's driver updates. Easy, right? No. In DxDiag, my manufacturer was shown as '(Standard display types)', which doesn't help me at all. So, my DxDiag output is here: http://pastebin.com/X5zXrhia, and I would really like some help, because I am very angry being unable to play a game that was paid good money for.
SandyBridge CPU's run an Intel HD GPU that is not windows 10 supported, you will have to revert your windows back to the previous version or use a different computer to play minecraft
not supported means just that, it is end of line and will never be supported as its old, they have many new supported cpus so why keep supporting old ones
Its nothing to do with selling more, its the fact that microsoft brought out a new os that is different and they are not going to spend time and money making sure all their old hardware works on new OS's, this has been the same for many years and is down to the user the check compatibility vefore installing a new OS

Windows 10 works fine everywhere else. I'm sure it's something else. How could it be not compatible when it's running fine and smooth right now?

Moderatorsee http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-034343.htm
the last CPU of the first table, not windows 10 supported by intel, you need intel drivers to have opengl possible which minecraft uses.
this is from Intel, they stopped supporting the old CPU, moan at them
Will this ever change at some point?

Because it's very ignorant for them to think that everyone will have both the time and money to buy a new CPU.
How do I downgrade?

see http://hopper.minecraft.net/help/references/windows-10/check-compatibility/#downgrade for how to revert the install
Awesome, thanks. I am back on 7 after a very short wait.
