No, you didn't read this wrong. I have lost access to two Minecraft accounts for no good reason. I was generally active on both, and one wasn't even mine to begin with. I had used my friend's account (with his knowledge and permission, of course), and after a few months of activity was unable to log in one day. Having no code (my friend threw the code card out, he got the account a year prior), I tried repeatedly to reset the password and login to no avail. About a year later, I decided to try again. I got a new Minecraft account and enjoyed myself for about a month, give or take. At this point, I was optimistic about the issue and had almost forgotten about the original account when I found myself unable to login once more. I tried yet again to deal with Mojang and the password resetting, but it again did not work. Until now, I have yet to voice my problems, mostly because I just couldn't find a good place to voice them. Just now I decided to browse the web out of boredom and stumbled back into this forum. If anyone has some help for me, I'd really appreciate it!
I was unsuccessful in resurrecting either account. I have tried all I could for mine and am waiting on one more check for emails for my friend's account. He isn't sure which email he used, so he's checking a bunch.

My newer account name: UsernamePending
I don't know why it's not showing up for me, but I used AOL for the account.

Moderatorthe username dosaaaa is still active and unmigrated, so its not been taken away, and to login to that account is would be username, not email.
But Mojang are the only people who can really help you as they are they only people with account access.
If changing password does not work then contact Mojang for further assistance https://help.mojang.com/customer/portal/emails/new
