I have heard there is a portal guns sound pack. Maybe you are missing it? (try installing it into mods folder first)
I extracted the soundpack into .minecraft/resources/portalgun, i tried putting it in the mod folder. I tried using a 1.4.4 jar file by adding forge universal 1.4.4 files into it, it crashes when i use it. Extracting it into the mod folder doesn't do anything.
The only sound that does work is for aerial faith plates, i also noticed that portal spawners and portals flicker from a distance, would also want help with that
I've downgraded to play the portal gun mod for 1.4.4, using magiclauncher to install. There is no sound for the mod no matter what. 1.4.6+ works fine.
I do not know if this issue has been fixed yet. Audio Mod doesn't do anything, nor the mod is wrongly configured.
Do i have to tweak with .minecraft/mods/portalgun/resources?

Out of the question, i downgraded to 1.4.4 for the purpose of SeeThrough portals & Fizzlers/Lasers/Checkpoints.
Portals also seem to be flickering when i move from a distance, might be an optifine issue though.
