I have an AMD FX-4300 quad-core overclocked to 4.2 GHz, 16 GB RAM, and an MSI Radeon R9 380. I use Vsync because I get bad tearing otherwise, All settings maxed except chunks (16) and the framerate typically varies between 45-60fps on 1.8.8 with no mods. Using the latest version of Forge with nothing else added causes my framerate to vary between 20-60 fps, staying around 30-40 and usually only hitting near 60 when I'm still. I installed forge to use Optifine and a shader pack, which I couldn't get to work together at all so neither are active anymore. I installed a fresh copy of Minecraft afterward and all that has been added is forge. How can I make this run like I believe it should? I can't imagine Minecraft needs more power than I have, even if I'm not using an Intel processor. I've checked all my drivers and they're up to date.
