It seems as though every time when I create a world, it seems as though it crashes. I changed the version of minecraft to make sure it was not just 1.8 crashing minecraft. It seems as though it crashes on every version. I put the video settings on the lowest one yet, and created a new world, but it still crashes!

Sorry for the long response time. I restarted my computer due to my Avast being outdated.
That did the trick. Minecraft was working again and I was able to play. Thanks for your help!
