So, a friend is allowing me to go into their account (They'll change their password after I'm finished), so I can purchase Minecraft for them. I go in, put in the necessary details, but then get slapped with "An error occurred while placing order, please verify credit card info and try again". This is consistent. I made sure my information is right. What gives?
make sure your card is verified for international payments and not a prepaid card, call your bank to check its allowed to make payments to sweden.
Also rather than your friend giving out his account information (which is always a stupid idea) you could've just purchased a game card at gamestop and given him that

If i had a method of reliable travel, I would, but, you know, Mojang decided to be BRILLIANT and cut off any way of purchasing a gift card online, be it Amazon, Ebay, Best Buy ,etc.
