I've been playing on the Resonant Rise modpack recently, and I tried to use the /give command to give myself a fluid import pipe from Applied Energistics 2. I got the command slightly wrong and accidentally gave myself an invalid item. My game instantly crashed and has continued to crash when I try to load the world ever since.
I have tried looking at my player NBT data, but the item is not in my inventory, so I can't remove it.
Does anyone know any way to get this item out of the world? I have spent a fair amount of time on taht world, and I would prefer not to start again.
I've never been able to work out how to do that...
Under the same folder that has your mods folder, there is a saves folder. It should have zip files of old games. MC creates a save whenever you exit the game. Check the dates on the zips to when you know it was working correctly. Now, unzip that file into the subfolder under saves that has your world name. It will replace several files and restore the world to that previous condition.
Now open that world. Any thing you've done in that world since that file date (building, mining, etc.) will be reset, so be aware.

Have you tried rolling the world back to an previous save point?
