We really need a macro for this .... Or a drinking game.
Lower render distance. Don't mess with video settings playing Minecraft 1.8+, or use a launcher that keeps profiles separate.
Grim didn't say you were playing 1.8. he said you messed with video settings in 1.8 then expected minecraft to work perfectly fine when you went back to 1.7.
