I am getting really frustrated here. I purchased and downloaded the game; however, when I try to open it, this is what happens:
Minecraft launcher opens, it says 1.6.44 at the top
At the bottom right, it shows that it is Minecraft 1.8.8
When I press Play, nothing happens.
It starts to open and then it freezes. No error message. Nothing.
It doesn't move at all. I can't even X out of it. I can't alt control delete out of it.
I have to manually shut down my pc.
I have no idea what to do.
I have already uninstalled and reinstalled it.
I have Windows 7.
Any help will be appreciated.
