Iv worked out why lan games would never work for me, it's because of the program on my PC Windows firewall. If I turn off firewall lan works but turning it on again stops it working.
My question is dose anyone know how to unblock whatever is needed to run a lan world and still have firewall on?

I believe you can add javaw.exe to the firewall exceptions.
I did that, its showing up on multiplayer now.
But when i try to join it gives me this error.
