I am setting up a server for myself and a friend. I run Windows 7, he runs OSX (10.10.3). We use MultiMC to track multiple instances (or at least I do; he just does what I tell him), so I'm having him test out everything locally first. Unfortunately, his Minecraft will crash, even after I walk him through setup, and mine will not.
Are there any known issues regarding OSX and v1.7.10 of Minecraft in general? I've read a couple of spurious threads regarding Java versions.
Are there any known issues with major mods? I know FTB's Infinity modpack doesn't run; after I post this I'll be off to scour the FTB forum.
No, you don't. Read the post. In fact, read the title: Known Issues. If you don't understand what a person is posting about or the complex words they use, don't leave a useless reply! Thanks. =)

Well I'm sorry then. I assumed you would like help with a problem you were having, as you stated:

In which case, we would need logs to be able to diagnose the problem.
And about the known issues; there are many known issues with Minecraft on any operating system, and really it depends heavily on the specific details.
