Hi, I am trying to mod minecraft and I seem to be having problems with either Optifine or the Shaders mod with Forge. I am using Optifine_1.7.10_HD_U_A4 and ShadersModCore-v2.3.28-mc1.7.10-f. Whenever I try to open a world I get a Shutting down internal server error before minecraft crashes. Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately, the shaders I am trying to use are only compatible with that specific version of optifine, so that's why I need to use it. Also, that's what is especially odd about it. The things I am using are stated to be compatible yet together they still cause minecraft to shut down.

Lastly, I am not sure what you mean by spoilers.
While I see where it is confusing, nowhere in the instructions does it say that shadersmod is ONLY compatible with A4.
Well this is what it says on Karyonix's minecraft forum post. So that's why Iam using that specific edition. If you guys know of another version of Opotifine for 1.7.10 that works instead it would be much appreciated. =3

Exactly... It doesn't say anything about being ONLY compatible with A4. If I remember correctly, pretty much any recent version of optifine will work with shaders, as log as they are loaded from the mods folder. They can also work with the installer, but the installer is hardcoded for A4, so you would have to trick it.
What do you mean exactly? So I should be able to use any version of Optifine After A4 for 1.7.10 with this shaders mod. So I put Optifine into the mods folder start the game quit and then do the same with the shaders mod right?

Put the latest version of optifine and shadersmod in the mods folder. You can do them both at the same time.
Well I tried a different version of Opotifine and it worked for a bit but then it gave me a new crash report and now it won't start again and keeps crashing. It's pretty frustrating

For Minecraft 1.7.10
- Shaders Mod v2.3.28 Forge Edition for Minecraft 1.7.10 (2014-10-03) (link)
Download shadersmod.net
Compatible with Minecraft 1.7.10.
Compatible with OptiFine_1.7.10_HD_U_A4. (only ultra edition)
Compatible with AMD Catalyst 14.9.
Requires Forge or FML. You can download Forge installer from files.minecraftforge.net.
It can be used with Forge v10.13.4.1448 but not with latest version.
Use Forge installer to install Forge. Select Forge Profile in Minecraft Launcher.
Copy ShadersMod jar file to mods folder in game directory, so it will be loaded by Forge.

Look at what you posted up above from the shader mod OP and then look at what Forge version you moved to.
"It can be used with Forge v10.13.4.1448 but not with latest version."
Minecraft Forge 10.13.4.1517
You've missed another part of the instructions now.
