Ya know all those awesome shaders pictures you see? They look just amazing? Well the other day I was testing out a bunch of different shaders (even Ultra versions) and NONE of them looked decent. All they did was make the water and leaves move slightly, and cause major lag. Anyone know how to make them look good?

Since I took this screenshot I have upgraded to Windows 8.1.

The shaderpack names are Kudo Shaders Ultra, and Mr Meep's Shaders Ultra. And yeah, there are loads of errors. As soon as I start playing and load up Minecraft, the launcher says a bunch of this: (in spoiler) And let me guess, it's my crappy graphics card once again.

I'm thinking of upgrading to a GeForce GTX 750, but is it really all that simple? Everyone says you just pop the card in and you're ready to go. And would that really help my fps/performance that much? Right now I get like 30-70 fps, 80-100 in a flat world.

After I put it in there, would I have to go through a long, complicated process on installing software and stuff? I'm not exactly too good at that stuff. Or would I just put it in there, start up the computer, and boom, now I'm using new graphics?

You would need to install the correct drivers for the new GPU, which should be a rather straightforward process.

Realistic Torches - Causes torches to burn out after a configurable amount of time.

Nature's Compass - A utility item that allows you to search for any biome's location in the world.

Notes - Provides a clientside in-game notepad.

Souls - After you die, a hostile Soul that stores your inventory will spawn.

Auto Refresh - Automatically refreshes your server list and alerts you when your selected server comes online.

Pick Block Plus - A clientside mod that significantly improves the vanilla pick block function.
