I have been trying to run minecraft on this computer for over a year and it has not worked for a long time. I am currently installed with 1.6.44 launcher and it gets stuck at the Loading... which never turns to play. I am running Windows 7 pro 64bit. I have Java 1.8.0_60 installed.
in the Launcher log it says this.
