I recently downloaded Windows 10 onto my laptop and can open the launcher, but when I hit play the game crashes. The help that I found told me to update my drivers, but they are already up to date. I also know that I can play "normal" Minecraft on Windows 10 because my friends and family can play.... What do I do to fix this issue??
Unfortunately your graphics hardware is not supported on Windows 10, you will need to downgrade to Windows 7, upgrade your graphics hardware(If Possible), or use another computer to play Minecraft.

Why is it not even supported on Windows 10 in the first place!?
I would expect that the manufacture would have updated the drivers by now.
Because Intel made those chips at the beginning of 2010.
They supplied Windows XP, Vista and 7 drivers and by the time Windows 8 at the end of 2013 came out they had declared the chip obsolete and no longer supported.
They never released fully functional drivers for even Windows 8.
It is relatively safe to assume that if your computer didn't come with <some OS> then it won't be fully functional running it. Especially for laptops where many drivers are customized by the manufacturer. Every laptop (multiple models) I have generates big warnings when I visit dell.com saying:

ModeratorIntel have stopped making drivers for that GPU, they stopped at windows 7
Oh, that was why. But why didn't he get a notification about the issue before upgrading to Windows 10?

Check out my website Here!Website is down until further notice.Microsoft wants to stampede everyone onto Windows 10.
Intel may not provide fully functional drivers, but Microsoft will provide partially functional ones.
AND Microsoft will offer you Minecraft Windows 10 Edition to replace your no longer functional Minecraft.
(Note I'm being sarcastic)
