Hello. I am having trouble with the new minecraft launcher that doesn't require java. I launched minecraft one day and it notified me that I am using an old version of the minecraft launcher, and that there is a new one that doesn't run on java. I downloaded the ".dmg" file that was on minecraft.net. I installed it. I then dragged it into my applications folder (yes I am on a Mac). And I clicked on the minecraft icon to launch the minecraft program. It then starts "downloading runtime" and once it "finishes" downloading (it doesn't) a pop up appears and says "Unable to update the minecraft native launcher." Dinnerbone tweeted that Apple users will have trouble and suggests to restart the computer. I restarted a bunch of times and reinstalled a bunch of times, and it still doesn't work... Any help please? I contacted Mojang support and all they did was give me a link to their support website which I did not find anything.
