Some graphical features are disabled if your computer doesn't support them. For example, some older Nvidia cards don't support Anisotropic Filtering and Intel graphics can't use Anti-aliasing at all. Try updating your video drivers, but past that, there's not a whole lot you can do.
If you use the shader mod (or the optifine with shader support) you can do supersampling via the shader menu, as for anisotropic filtering you can't do that at the same time as supersampling via shaders.
I forgot to mention that I did change it but now I can't change it back. (one is stuck on 2 the other is stuck on 3 and now I can't change them to 0/off)
I'm not sure if this goes here but when I'm playing Minecraft 1.8.8 I can't seem to change the Antialiasing and Anisotropic filtering settings.
Any idea on how to fix it? Would it help to go into another game version?
