Some mice need special driver for extra buttons to work, mine has some proprietary program that came with it for the horizontal scroll wheel and a couple other things on it to fully work. So sometimes that's a thing. If it didn't come with any software in the package or you don't have it anymore you can always just google the name of the mouse followed by drivers and most likely get like 50 results unless its something obscure. (i.e. M.M.O.7 Mouse drivers, or Razor Naga Drivers, etc.)
I have three different gaming mouses with extra buttons.
Setting the game controls to the mouse buttons works fine, it recognises them and shows up in options like "Mouse 4", etc.
But when I use the buttons in-game it doesn't do anything, at all.
They work for every other game I've ever played with them, it's just Minecraft where they don't work.
Does anyone know why this happens and how I can fix it?
