Hello. When I play (either a pure client or running my server and playing on it), I hit major fps drops when visiting new areas. It lasts about half a second and there is a jump. My fps counter in game and with shadowplay say it suddenly drops to 15 or so and then goes back up.
My computer is decently beefy and is only 3 weeks old. I have a Intel I7 5820k OC 4.2, 16gb ddr4 2133 mhz ram, 500 gb Samsung EVO 850 ssd, 3tb WD black hdd running Windows 10.
I have dedicated 1-3gb ram to server (when running) and 2-4gb ram to client. The server never shows using more than 300mb and the client shows a maximum allocated of 2.4gb.
I am mainly wondering If it is posible to create more of the world at start so I do not hit lag like this. The reason it matters is because I am making videos of gameplay and I hit a random lag spike. It does it regardless of if I am recording or not.
The recording programs I use are Shadowplay and Dxtory.
The version I use is 1.7.10 but It happens in 1.8.8 too.
I am running 64bit Java.
Any help will be much appreciated. Sorry for grammar or spelling mistakes, I am on my phone.
