Each time I download Optifine 1.8.8 F3, and I open it with Java Platform SE Binary with the open with bar when I right click it, it says: Java installation not complete! I even reinstalled Java! I also completed the Java installation form and it says Java installed! I even verified it and it said I had the best version! I even watched many videos and they mostly did the same thing and didn't have any problems doing the exact same steps as me. How do I install Optifine. It will be helpful if you put steps down below. S.O.S.

Try just put it into mods folder. So, try to download forge, and then putting Optifine in mods folder.

Hi, I have the same problem, Since you guys posted in Sep 7, 2015 I probably think you figured out already. Can you give step by step for me so i can download Optifine?

Ok I found a way to download Optifine!

1. Download JarFix, and go click External Mirror 1

2. Go to your downloads folder and double click your the JarFix

3. Go To Optifine and then right click and click on Java

4. Go on your MC and have fun

I had the same Problem Recently!

if your error log is the same as mine in HERE I think you are gonna be OK by changing your launcher as I did.

BTW: I had Extreme Launcher and then I changed into TERRAMININGMC OptiFine launcher v9.0.
