I have various apple macs, all of which fail when installing Tekkit Classic from the Tekkit Launcher. I have tried all combinations of installing / uninstalling the latest Java from Oracle and the Java for OSX from Apple.
When I turn on logging, it gets to 79% installed, but fails on Computercraft.zip because of an MD5 hash mismatch. I have added the URL to the Java console's exception list, but something in Java is still insistent on doing an MD5 checksum comparison for validation. Any idea how to avoid this?
I have tried removing all AV and Firewall settings on the MACs and also removed all OpenDNS web filtering, so the only thing that is common between the various machines is the Java configurations.
