I have just reformatted and installed a fresh copy of Windows 8.1.
- Newest updates from Microsoft.
- Installed Minecraft from site
- Ran Minecraft 1.8 manually
- Installed Forge, latest version
- Copied Pixelmon 1.8 into mod folder
Ran Forge profile and it appeared to load the Pixelmon files but then just hangs on the Mojang logo. It appears Java may be crashing?
Unmodified 1.88 works fine.

Update: I deleted Java and reinstalled. Used the Pixelmon Profile Installer, and it runs now.
However, it runs smooth for about 4 seconds, then freezes for 1-2 seconds. Almost on beat, it's laggy. Any ideas?

Curse PremiumIt's probably because of your computer. It appears to be 32 bit, which Minecraft doesn't love.
Also, the newest version of Forge isn't recommended or confirmed to be stable. Try using version 10.13.4.1448.
