So i have a computer that exceeds the RECOMMENDED requirements for the game as shown in the 1st image attached and i have a "Nivedia geforce gt 425m" graphics card and i am using super low video settings as shown in the 2nd image and i still get a pretty slow game with 3 fps whilst moving as shown in the 3rd image. and i have tried playing around with lots of video settings maybe even all of them but without any improvement so what can i do to fix this?
i noticed while screen shooting the 3rd image that it says in the display that i'm using intel hd graphics so i checked from my device manager and turns out i have both intel and nividea in my display drivers could that be the problem?

Moderatorgoto the nvidia control panel, there should be a setting to force java to use the nvidia card instead of the rubbish onboard intel gpu.
your laptop is basically thinking as its java it doesn't need the nvidia card so is trying to save power

fps is now up to 60 - 80 now with higher minecraft video settings
