Hey, its me again, and I have another issue, and my other thread about the loading thing got fixed, but I need help signing in to the launcher again, because when I put in my valid credentials, it gets stuck on the loading.

If anyone can help, i'm willing to reinstall minecraft because of this.

Have you tried deleting the ENTIRE FILE from your computer before re-downloading minecraft? Try using a deleting program like App Cleaner (I will attach).

I wasn't meaning to just derectly delete it, I meant that if there is a way to get this fixed then I would use that, not just blatently uninstall it.

If it helps any, try going to \appdata\roaming\.minecraft\ (Type this in run> %appdata%) and delete everything in the .minecraft folder EXCEPT saves.

Are you using the "old" Minecraft Launcher (that requires java) or the "new" one (does not requires java, only for windows)?

Using the windows one, not windows 10, just the windows one that doesn't use java

He isn't talking about which Minecraft, but which "java" Minecraft launcher. You could also try Magic Launcher for playing, I used to use it all the time awhile ago.

Try with the java one or with community made launchers such as MultiMC, Magic Launcher, SKLauncher

Well, i'm trying MultiMC, and if its not good then i'll just use sk launcher

MultiMC is good and all, but how do I add my custom versions like optifine?

There is a tutorial here.

The easier way: Install Forge and drop the Optifine jar in the mods folder

AVG currently, I'm using magic launcher at the moment until I can find out how to fix it
