i need help with mods how can i use mods for minecraft version 1.8.8 because i can not seem to find them i try so hard and i really want to use mods can some one give me advice on how to use mods? i Know how to use mods now no more posts on here but i did make other threads.
can people make an video that has instructions in it of how to install mods to minecraft version 1.8.8 On Windows that will just make it more easier because when i read stuffs it hurts my eyes
I think there may be some confusion here:
Are you looking to mod version 1.8.8 specifically for some reason, or just because it's the release you play on?
If you're just wanting to play modded Minecraft then what you'll likely want to do is play a modded version 1.8.
To do that, go to http://files.minecraftforge.net/ and download the latest installer for 1.8. Run it, then open your minecraft launcher, and look in the bottom left hand corner for the "profiles" section. Open the drop-down menu and select the forge profile. Run the game once, then close it.
Now, go to C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft and you'll see a folder called "mods". Put any 1.8 mods you find in there and they will now run when you restart Minecraft (making sure you play with the forge profile).
Come back here when you've done that, and let us know if you have any problems.
i already have forge installed but not the latest because its to dangous for my lap top and i have a window 10
Forge works on Windows 10, it really doesn't matter what OS you have, so long as you have a working JRE install you can run and install Forge through the .jar installer. If you really have to, there's a Windows installer packaged in a .exe file.
And too dangerous? Nope, not really. Even if something happens with Forge, it will only affect your Minecraft install(s). That's it. Unless Forge somehow breaks something computer-wide, which I doubt it will since Java is somewhat designed to prevent this in the way it works, it won't cause computer=wide harm.

:bookflip:well i tried forge but it says this "Forge mod loader has found a problem with your minecraft installation the mods and versions listed below could not be found

What does all of this mean and how can i fix it this what it said when i open up the forge profile if i fix this i might be able to use mods
i'll try to show you a picture sorry if its too small and blury so sorry but this is what it said after i open the forge on minecraft so i'll be real thankful to that person if they help me with this problem.
One more can some tell me how to create mods to something with out coding and something that you can mostly do anything and something thats easy to use.
nothing seems to help me i tried you this thing called magic launcher that can help you use mods but when i went to set up and add mods it says no forge when i have it and if you think i am getting off topic for my question i am not you will see my point that how this goes to this topic and when i add the forge to it it says no mods found so some how the forge and the mods are not connecting with each other so that is why i can't use mods so how can i make it so forge can notice the mods and the mods to notice the forge.
i need the mods instructions so i can read it i just hope i can under stand the instructions. but do you know what would be more helpful if you can get the mod commands and put them in command blocks now that would make things more easier.
i just got it to work but now it keeps crashing on me that how i know it works and here what it said
and it told me "if you do use mods please send the mod authors this crash report" it did not say this but it said something like this i just shorten it. so can you help me because i install a lot of mods.

And from what I can see a 1.2.5 mod.

Install mods designed for your version of minecraft, and make sure not to put two of the same mod in your mods folder.

Rather than us doing so, what about we tell you your version then you do some research to see what version a mod is for? You're using 1.7.10, all the mods you're using must be for 1.7.10. All other mods will not work and will crash the game.

Install mods designed for your version of minecraft, and make sure not to put two of the same mod in your mods folder.
You said you had one mod. I showed you a report you gave us that showed you had many more mods, and bolded the part where it listed the mods.

1. making mods that means coding because you need to know how to code to make mods.
Rather than us doing so, what about we tell you your version then you do some research to see what version a mod is for? You're using 1.7.10, all the mods you're using must be for 1.7.10. All other mods will not work and will crash the game.
