I use Curse Voice, and want to play Minecraft with my friend. We made a group, and any time we click join session or whatever, it just creates a voice call. That's nice and all, but we got Skype. Anyway, how do we create a 'private server', if you will, that we could play on with Curse Voice? It would also be nice to have mods. Please help!

I knew most of everything about Minecraft, until 1.8 and 1.9....now I'm just totally confused....
Although I have a PS3 and Wii U, I don't have any console edition.
