For some reason, out of the blue, Minecraft won't let me play on servers. The button you hit to launch Minecraft from the launcher says Play Offline instead of Play. I tried reinstalling Minecraft and now, when i try to log into my account it says "Sorry, but we couldn't connect to our servers. Please make sure that you are online and that Minecraft is not blocked. (SunCertPathBUilderException: unable to fin valid certification path to requested target)"
I have also tried putting Minecraft on my "exception" list for my antivirus software, but that didn't do anything. I am at my home and nothing is blocked, so that shouldn't be the problem.

Check your firewall settings too. Make sure Java is allowed through.
