I recently got Windows 10, and I want to get Minecraft. (Not the Windows 10 Edition) I am sure many others were wondering about this too. I installed it fine, but when I press Play on the launcher, It says I need a different graphics Card. I looked up many tutorials, but none I found helped my Laptop.
Windows HP Laptop:
Computer: HP Laptop
Current Driver: Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM 1.1)
Name: Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family
Manufacture: Intel Corporation
If you can, reply as soon as possible. If you think you know an answer, please reply.
EDIT: I mainly just want to know which Intel Graphic drivers run Minecraft.
However, the Mobile Intel 4 chipset is no longer supported by Intel, and they do not have drivers available for Windows 10. You may need to revert to an earlier version of Windows.
This is probably a dumb question, but I use Macs. I'm trying to help my daughter with this same issue (I updated her laptop to WIndows 10 only to find Minecraft (the version she prefers) doesn't run well on 10. Above, "cestislife" suggests reverting to an older version of Windows. How would I do this? Her laptop came with Windows 8...and no discs. I hate WIndows 8... which is why I upgraded to 10.

Retired StaffIt would be better if you had provided a DxDiag log instead,

Should I buy a new one? Unless, I can download Java on Fedora 21, I can run minecraft fine.

Retired StaffYou typically cannot replace the integrated Intel GPU, as its tied to the processor, which is almost always something you cannot replace on a laptop.
