If you just deleted your saves folder, couldn't you restore it from the recycling bin? To do this, go to the recycling bin(should be accessible from the desktop), right click on your saves folder/.minecraft folder (whatever you deleted) and press restore.
newbie here.
[on windows 8.1 at the moment, waiting to upgrade to 10]
In my sad efforts to get lucky blocks, it has put me in a terrible situation. I lost all my worlds.
I understand I did something wrong but would like to NOT make this mistake again. I cannot seem to recover anything.
I am accepting to start again if I cannot recover my worlds.
a few questions.....
thank you very much in advance for any help.

Go to minecraftexe.com
And you can get the Forge Client at Curse Forge.
Oh and by the way, follow these steps to download.
1. Download Mod.
2. Install Forge to Client
3. Do ctrl + r and run %appdata%(Don't do with File Explorer)
4. Click on the .minecraft folder
5. Look for the Mods Folder and click.
6. Drag mod in.
7. Enjoy your mod!
And losing your worlds is 100% normal
thank you for the step by step...awesome!
however, during the download my "anti-malware" blocked it.
is this normal?
I cannot afford to lose anything else on my pc.
yes.
