Sorry if this doesn't belong in this area, I just needed a place for help. So recently I updated to Windows 10 and it has came to my attention that my drivers (Intel(r) G45/G43 Express Chipset (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM 1.1)) isn't supported for Windows 10. I also have an integrated graphics card so I can't switch it out. If anyone knows of similar drivers that are updated to Windows 10 and that can run Minecraft, please let me know. If you need a crash report or the dyxdiag thing pm me.

There is a chance you could manually install the most recent ( I believe windows 7 ) drivers, but there's no guarantee that will work. Most likely you will have to downgrade back to your previous operating system
Well after looking into it that is the best driver available from Intel for your board so just a matter of waiting for the updated driver to release or reverting OS which is what I'd say to do considering . Although the last option is to leave Windows alone and simply install Ubuntu as a secondary OS and install Minecraft on that partition.

Use windows update instead of manually installing the drivers
That doesnt get everything all the time, nor the latest versions. All drivers that the Windows Update system can install must be submitted to Microsoft for validation and testing before they are put into the Windows Update pool. If a particular company didnt do this prior to Windows 10's release, or only released the drivers recently, they will not show up and a manual install will be required.

Cast aside your festive doylaks: dragon stuff is about to happen.
Multiplayer is lonely once you understand how it actually works.
I just bought a graphics card that should have a windows 10 driver. If you wanna look it up, the name of the card is Evga GeForc GT 610 Graphic Card - 810 MHz Core - 2 GB DDr3 SDRAM - P

And? Did you not read what I said?
Having a Windows 10 driver and having a driver submitted to Microsoft for validation is not the same thing. Manually install the driver, Done and done.

Have you went to the manufacturers website to try downloading from there?

I don't know who that was directed towards, but if you were asking me, I've been there. When I download something it says that the drivers I would be installing would be older than my current drivers.
Hmm, that doesnt make sense to me, sorry i have no idea. i can only think to downgrade windows.
