With lackluster 3D performance MC will bog down trying to calculate and render all the individual blocks.
To improve the performance you'll have to turn down settings.

it didn't work. now minecraft just gets FPS lag

the thing is this didn't always happen. for the longest time MC worked fine. it just started acting up Saturday
