I went to load up the new snapshot that was released and my game output gives me this:

java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: net/minecraft/client/main/Main

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?????? this has happened every time I update Minecraft starting at 1.8.8! any ideas???

Please give us the entire Launcher log.

You can do so by going to the launcher, selecting the "Launcher log" tab and right clicking in the text area and selecting "Copy All Text". This will copy everything to your clipboard. Go to https://gist.github.com/ - paste the text into the big box and press "Create Secret Gist". Give us the link that it takes you to.

uh OK...... I did get it to work shortly after creating this post.. if it gives me trouble again i'll do that. Thanks. It may because I have a bad PC, i'm running windows XP Home Edition that was made 11 years ago, so it's pretty old.
