Okay, so Windows 10 didn't work out for me and even with a new HP Notebook PC I had a mess going back to Windows 8.1, ended up having to do a whole system restore. My Minecraft files were backed up on a flash drive before I did the upgrade (in anticipation of any possible problems) and after re-downloading the game and launcher, I loaded the files. All my worlds are there (Whew!) I had Forge installed and working with only one mod, the latest Optifine. Both the Forge and Optifine show up in the Minecraft files I reloaded from the flash drive, but they don't show up in the launcher and I don't know how to get them there. Can anyone help me with this? I would really appreciate any advice. Thanks.
