I just got Minecraft on PC a few days ago after playing on Xbox for quite a while, and upon starting it up, the world fails to generate. I'm stuck in a black void and can move around with audible footsteps and punching noises, but nothing else seems to spawn. Mobs don't seem to spawn either. I've looked through various threads on the issue, and most problems seem to be weak graphics cards that can't spawn worlds. However, I'm using an R9 390X graphics card and shouldn't have a problem with that. Any other possible causes/suggestions? My game is entirely vanilla, I don't even have a map because this issue came up as soon as I downloaded it. It stalls a bit on the "downloading terrain" screen before starting, not sure if that's normal. I took a screenshot of what happens.
Thanks guys
