Could someone link me to a mod or launcher that allows that? My computer's GPU is no longer being updated, and that's a problem, so I can't get OpenGL. It is because I got Windows 10 just yesterday, and I am NOT downgrading just so I could play Minecraft.
I know there is Windows 10 Edition Beta, but that doesn't have as much as the PC Edition... and there is only 1% of the 305719 trillion servers on PC, which I can't find.
If there is no such mod or launcher, PLEASE tell me that they are updating PC Edition for DirectX support. Microsoft has an odd dislike for OpenGL... DirectX 10 is required for Windows 10...

Will they make an update for DirectX support? Doubtful
If not, will they make an update for cross-platform support with PC and Windows 10 Editions? No as win10 edition will be cross compatabile with xbox and PE, win10 edition is a form of PE

You cant run the java version on directx. You will need to use openGL
