when downloading a map sometimes it comes as .jar but sometimes it is a compressed folder. (same thing with mods too)
when it is a .jar single file then I just put it in the .minecraft and in the saves folder and the map (or mod) is in the game. But if it is in a compressed (zipped) folder and there are multiple files and if I put it in the .minecraft and in the saves folder then it doesn't work.
my question is: how to put the map or mod in, if it is in a folder, and there are multiple files and folders inside?
or how to change it into a single .jar file.
