ok, so my minecraft forge isnt working. i install it, i get my mods, then it loads, and i see a black screen. then suddenly, all my windows for java and minecraft close as if i never launched it in the first place. no crash report, no nothing. just BOOM its closed. what do i do? and im on a Mac X OS. HELP MEE!

Get rid of Mac OSX and get Windows or Linux. 85% of Apple desktop devs have been moved to their iOS team, where they screw things up even more. That's why I use Android, and a custom version at that.

A wild opinion appeared! Everybody freak out and start insulting each other because you don't agree with it!
OS version? Minecraft version? Also, there might be some debug info in your logs folder. Go there, and first delete all the files inside that folder (or move them somewhere else if you think your old logs are important). Next, try to launch it again. With luck, it'll create one new file there when it crashes. If you post the contents of that file here, we might be able to get some decent info about what caused it.
I highly doubt its the computer that is causing your minecraft Make sure you java etc is up to date. Also if your on 1.7.10 with java 8 update you might have to install the forge-java 8 patch someone realeased on mc forums{just google it} Because i think that is what kept happening to me with java 8 playing 1.7.10 forge.
The newest versions of Forge no longer need the Java 8 fix, though if you're using an older version of Forge to be compatible with an older mod, you will need the fix mod as well. Not sure the name of it or where to get it though, sorry.
Forge always creates a log file, on single player it should be in a folder under the .minecraft folder called crash-reports.

You can still install windows alongside OS X with Bootcamp if you can afford the €135 for a copy of Windows 10 Home.
There are ... other ways of getting Windows, and if you decide to go that route get Windows 7. It's better than 8 by a mile and Windows 10 is just dumb.

delete forge and re install. make sure it says for mac or unified. you might of installed one for windows.

like many users of the minecraft forums i'm a member of the server total war (IP:167.114.100.168:438) the server includes a 1:1500 scale map of earth.
those of you wondering why i don't have an active RP (so far none). i try. but whenever i get to the rules section of it my computer restarts. computer: i realise what your telling me and i give up.

Look, you need to post logs (preferably the launcher log), otherwise all you'll get is random speculation.

I tired Windows 10 in almost every beta stage that Microsoft publicly released (and some they didn't) and frankly it's just a vista-8 hybrid.
