Hi, I am trying to use Feed the Beast and play with the Infinity mod. I have a good PC but its only 32 bit and I get a message about only being able to do 1 GB of something. Every time I run infinity to download it It gets to like phase 3 5/7 or so and It shuts off. Usually it says Java SE binary stopped running. Is there a way for me to get this mod to work?
Your computer is too slow and is running out of RAM memory. If you want to play feed the beast or any other large modpack, then please upgrade your computer.
Yeah saz its 32 kinda dumb. Good PC other wise pretty sure i got right around when 64 bit was getting popular it has windows vista still lol. Just dumb because I can run 64 bit fine so dont see why FTB cares.....

Just thought of something. Can you paste the log here in a spoiler please?
FTB launcher has a settings thing where you can change how much dedicated RAM to give i recommend using 5Gb. but you'll need to make sure you have a 64bit java 8 version. to go past 1 or 2Gb.
it can be tricky getting the 64bit as it may redirect you to the 32bit version if you not careful, so you need to double check.
Yeah I think that is problem it makes sense. I have Java 32 Bit can only do 1 GB of RAM so I need 64. Can I get 64 bit java on a 32 bit OS? I can run 64 bit. Should have gotten free Windows 7 when they offered it to me.

I have 6 gb of RAM figured that was enough. It was limiting me just because I have 32 bit though.
Are you sure your computer is 32 bit? Very few computers these days are 32 bit. Are you sure its not just your java thats 32 bit?

Curse Premium6 GBs is plenty, because I am running a 226 mod modpack on 2 GBs of RAM. I do not know much about the 32 bit and 64 bit stuff.
